Formed in the summer of 2006, Nathan Kent Band is Wichita's premier funk attack. Bringing together members of Soul Injection, The Source, and Luxury Funk Mobile, nKB's sound is best described as r&b with a rock edge. Live shows feature the music of Marvin Gaye, Prince, Stevie Wonder, Led Zeppelin, The Beatles, George Clinton, D'Angelo, etc. The band is also presently recording their first CD of original material, which is slated for completion by early 2007.
